Having your own server means your world is always online, only the people you invite can join, and you choose the rules, mods and plugins. You don't need a powerful PC at home: the server runs in our data center and you control it from your browser.

What you need

  • A RexifyHosting account (you can make one during checkout).
  • Any Indonesian mobile banking or e-wallet app that can scan QRIS, such as GoPay, OVO, DANA, ShopeePay or your bank's app.
  • About 10 minutes.

1. Choose a plan

Open the Minecraft plans page. Plans are priced by RAM at Rp 10.000 per GB per month.

  • 2 GB (Rp 20.000) is enough for vanilla Minecraft with 2 to 5 friends.
  • 4 GB fits plugins and up to 10 players.
  • 6 to 8 GB is for mods and modpacks.

Not sure? Read How much RAM does my Minecraft server need?. You can upgrade later without losing your world.

2. Pick your server type

At checkout you choose the server software:

Type Choose it if you want
Paper Vanilla gameplay, or plugins like land claims, economy and minigames
Fabric Mods, especially performance mods and lighter modpacks
Forge Classic mods and most big CurseForge modpacks

Don't worry about picking wrong. You can switch type or Minecraft version later from the Versions page in the panel.

3. Create your account and pay

  1. Click Checkout and create your account, or log in.
  2. Check your email and click the verification link. Look in your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
  3. Choose QRIS, then scan the code with your banking or e-wallet app and finish the payment.

Your server is created automatically once the payment is confirmed.

4. Open your control panel

Go to the client area, open Services and select your server. From there you can open the control panel, where you can:

  • start, stop and restart the server from the Console
  • install mods, modpacks and plugins
  • change settings like difficulty, game mode and the player limit
  • make backups

Press Start on the console page. The first start takes a minute or two while Minecraft creates the world.

5. Invite your friends

Copy your server's address from the panel and send it to your friends. Then follow How to join your Minecraft server on Java Edition, or the Bedrock guide for friends on phones.

Tip: Turn on the whitelist so only people you know can join. See How to whitelist and OP your friends.
